Waka Haiku Setsugekka's Design is Reflective of Japan's Cuisine

The dreamy interior of the stunning restaurant 'Waka Haiku Setsugekka' was designed to be reflective of traditional Japanese values and cuisine. With a luminous aquarium and all-wooden furniture, this restaurant located in Jilin, China, was designed to provide guests with an unforgettable and authentic experience.

The interior is comprised of glass partitions engraved with elegant cherry blossoms and a centered sushi counter embedded with ambient LED lights. The lights omit colors of blue, yellow, pink and white to reference the Japanese an ode to the seasons known as 'Setsugekka.' The vibrant and dynamic design manages to elicit a calming sense of zen, to perfectly encapsulate the vibrant subtly of the accompanied cuisine.

This restaurant takes a multi-sensory approach to Japanese eating, while providing an environment that's both respectful and contemporary.
