The team at Alloi reconstructs the Wagoya House inspired by mid-century Eichler homes to honor the iconic architectural styles. It also integrates modern design features to make it more timely. The Wagoya House is located in the neighborhood of Westchester in Los Angeles.
This was an outdated ranch before it went through the recent renovation project. The home is built with a Japanese post and beam method which is dubbed Wagoya. This namesake nods to the seamless blend of natural materials, functionality, and eco-friendly build. Prior to the renovation, the house was clad in vinyl sliding with leaky windows and the yard had little to no privacy. Now, it is a closed sanctuary that fuses elements of modernity and nature.
