The slew of natural disasters that have recently rocked the planet may make marketing initiatives like the Volkswagen Touareg campaign all the more appealing. Advertising VW's new vehicle's ability to rise above the hindrance of heavy rain and flash flooding, this set of ads captures two roadside victims that would be completely swallowed in such conditions.
Designed by the Kaffeine advertising agency of Kiev, Ukraine, these animated adverts succeed in their simplicity. Eliminating a larger city scene, a lone fire hydrant and a bicycle appear downed within a water level half their height.
I'd personally be quite impressed to find my car able to work with streets in such a state, but the Volkswagen Touareg campaign asserts that the automobile's 580mm of fording depth will give your journey all the more reliability.
