Two Japanese companies, 'mythography' and 'BONUM,' worked to design a line of sneakers and sandals that make use of vintage patchwork material. With the former company being a footwear manufacturer and the latter a denim brand, the resulting products infused the best of each.
With a total of three offerings included, each is unique in its own way. One model is perhaps more conventional than the others, with the vintage patchwork material covering the uppers of a pair of sneakers that sport a fairly common silhouette.
Another version however shows the vintage patchwork material used to construct a boot-like shape with a gold zipper that goes up the side. This model is brought together with an athletic rubber sole, making for a bit of an odd combination overall. Meanwhile, the sandals that the two companies create are lined with fabric donned in the patterns of the American flag, while thick black straps cross over the top.
