The Hilton London Bankside hotel collaborated with Bompas & Parr and The Vegan Society to create an all-new vegan hotel suite that helps to address that veganism is not just a diet but a conscious lifestyle choice for many. The suite features a variety of entirely plant-based natural materials, fibres and surfaces from floor to ceiling. In addition to boasting sustainable bamboo flooring, the suite offers soft soy silk curtains, as well as armchairs, cushions, headboards, keycards and other details made with Piñatex, a natural leather alternative made from pineapple leaf fibers.
Catering to the plant-based traveler, the hotel gives guests the option to select their desired pillow from a Pillow Menu—with options including fillings of organic buckwheat hulls, natural kapok, organic millet husks and even orthopedic memory foam pillows made with shredded bamboo fibers.
