The USF Vehicle is a New Generation of Vehicle for the Urban Commuter
Michael Baxter — May 21, 2014 — Autos
It's strange to think about, but one day cars might not be the number one vehicle on the road and if that shift does start to occur, we could be seeing things like the USF vehicle dominating urban streets. The USF or (ultra small footprint) vehicle is much different than a car in many different ways, the most obvious being the design, but it extends even further than that.
Cars create a large carbon footprint because it is so burly and relies on heavy amounts of fuel to operate. Combine that with the sheer number of drivers and you have yourself an ecological problem. The USF vehicle helps remedy that by being a compact pod with a fold-up design and a battery system to replace the use of fossil fuels.
