This Upward Farms resealable packaging is being introduced to provide a fresher experience for consumers and prioritize ease of access.
The packaging is being touted as a more sustainable alternative to the existing design and features post-consumer recycled content along with 38% less plastic overall. The new packaging also features sealed plastic trays to allow for easier stacking and access, which is focused on increasing shelf life. This will ensure the product is fresh from the first serving to the last.
CEO and Co-Founder Jason Green spoke on the new Upward Farms resealable packaging saying, "Continuously reducing Upward Farms’ carbon footprint is a top priority for us, and our new packaging marks a significant milestone in that journey. Upward Farms’ new packaging is made using post-consumer recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate (rPET), one of the only truly recyclable plastics.”
