The brand new 'TWA Flight Center' is the remodeled iteration of the traditional John F. Kennedy airport and its TWA Hotel celebrates by launching its own in-house fashion collection. The range is comprised of 40 different pieces, broadening out to apparel, accessories, and footwear.
The main design language captures retro-informed accents and strong influences of nostalgic elements. The collection was designed by Somsack Sikhounmuong, who drew inspiration from old-school TWA visuals including old travel posters and pins. Sikhounmuong also drew in the help of Gola to create the low-top sneaker design, highlighted by a white canvas foundation and bright red 'TWA.' Additional pieces in the range include tracksuits, socks, towels, a puzzle, iPhone grips, and even an Etch A Sketch.
