Tundra to Table is the industry's first exclusive Inuit culinary experience and it comes from Quark Expeditions. Available on select Arctic 2022 and 2023 voyages, Tundra to Table showcases the cuisine and culture of Greenland and Nunavut. As Alex McNeil, the Director of Expedition Experience and Innovation for Quark Expeditions, says "The ultimate purpose of this culinary experience is to support local chefs as they share the stories of their people through food."
Guests can expect to be treated to food in a pure and natural state, including seafood caught fresh from the Arctic waters and free-roaming game that fed on organic grass and vegetarion. Some of the dishes that might be served as part of the experience include beer-braised muskox served with Greenlandic mashed potatoes, mushroom sauce and berry jam.
