If you have ever wondered what it would be like to sleep in a sewer for a night, I suggest you consider booking a room at the TuboHotel. This unique hotel features rooms created using concrete pipes.
Designed by T3arc Architects, the TuboHotel is located at Tepoztlan in Morelos, Mexico. Since the TuboHotel was built using already-constructed pipes, it is not only eco-friendly but also extremely affordable. The TuboHotel is made up of 20 rooms, which have been arranged in modular pyramid forms.
Although the accommodations are fairly simple, the TuboHotel offers a great gimmick for tourists. The TuboHotel also complements its surroundings nicely.
Implications - The credit crunch has affected how consumers plan family vacations. Hotels have increasingly adopted unusual themes and aesthetics to lure budget-affected consumers into opening their wallets and planning a visit.
