True Gum, a sustainable chewing gum brand based in Copenhagen, has teamed up with consultancy firm Blueprint to expand its travel retail lineup, which was first launched in 2018 in Denmark.
With the help of Dufry Group, the chewing gum brand has just launched in duty-free shops at airports throughout Europe and South America. Additionally, True Gum's products will be placed adjacent to the cash registers at Gebr, Heinemann's major duty-free location in Copenhagen, to encourage associative buying. There will also be True Mint prizes for VIP visitors at the Frankfurt Airport in Germany.
“We knew from the start that the biodegradable, vegan-friendly and plastic-free True Gum had something unique to offer travel retailers and our instincts were proved correct,” said True Gum Co-founder Morten Ebdrup
