Casio celebrates 50 years of the beloved TRN-50 timepiece with a special limited-edition launch to honor the traditional Casiotron QW02. This release features 4,000 units across the globe and it is a nod to the first-ever digital watch line that even features an automatic calendar element.
This dates all the way back to 1974 when the brand unveiled Casiotron and built on the brand's calculator technology by offering a refreshing take to the watch market. This automatically adjusted everything for the months and today, it has been reimagined with modern touches. It retains the dark blue face and logo but more progressive details include the radio-controlled time, solar charging capabilities, and the Mobile Link functions to pair with smartphones.
