A little while back Trend Hunter covered the Top Gear '10 Million Fans' campaign, in which the British television series promised to blow up a Caravan if it was able to reach 10 million fans on Facebook. Well Top Gear recently reached that goal and as promised, the show's Stig (the anonymous character who races the show's cars) blew up a Caravan!
While many brands have celebrated reaching millions of Facebook fans, none have celebrated it the way Top Gear has. As Digital Buzz Blog points out, "Top Gear have taken their celebration just a little further than normal, perhaps that’s because they’ve just hit 10 Million Fans, or is it just because they can?"
