Tom Ford has won the ‘##### Golden Lion Award’ at the 66th Venice Film Festival for his directorial debut, A Single Man. The film’s star Colin Firth has also won the prestigious best actor honors.
The film stars Colin Firth , Julianne Moore, Matthew Goode, and Nicholas Hoult. Fade to Black, Tom Ford’s production company, explained in a statement, “The story is a romantic tale of love interrupted, the isolation that is an inherent part of the human condition, and ultimately the importance of the seemingly smaller moments in life.”
