Most Canadians have come to know Tim Hortons stores as places where you can pick up coffee and a donut, but in a new concept store, the restaurant chain is exploring a new kind of offering—booze, specifically coffee-flavored beer. The new concept Tim Hortons store is tucked away in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, open only to store owners and suppliers. The space is open and bright, featuring some radical changes like a unisex washroom and a communal sink. As Chief Operating Officer David Clanachan describes “It’s not your dad’s Tim Hortons."
In addition to a coffee-flavored brew, those with a sweet tooth can enjoy strawberry lager. What's even sweeter are the new digital menus, designed to appeal to the highly tech-savvy consumers of the future.
