According to new data from digital-first consumer brands group THG, UK consumers are shopping later, with a 7% increase in orders placed between 10 PM and 1 AM compared to last year. What's more, 82% of all next-day delivery orders are placed after 2 PM and over a quarter are placed after 10 PM, prompting THG to enhance the next-day delivery services it offers via THG Fulfil.
"It's phenomenal to think that when you place an order until 1am any day of the week, it could arrive the following morning–or even the same morning if you order after midnight," says Tom Killeen, chief operating officer of THG Brands, "It leans into the 'I want it now' generation of consumers and allows us to drive high customer lifetime value for our brands, and those of our clients."
