The Thing Quarterly Issue 19 is the company's latest object-based publication. Inspired by the theme of travel, it takes the form of a passport holder. But instead of mimicking the typical travel necessity to a tee, it takes on a cartoonish feel thanks to its creator, illustrator David Shrigley. One of four artists invited to design an issue this year, his version is a great alternative to more traditional travel distractions.
Designed in collaboration with Matt Singer, The Thing Quarterly Issue 19 is comprised of 24 pages as well as four phrase cards. As described by Cool Hunting, "The tiny tome is brimming with creative conversation starters, serving as a 'meditative series of travel related situations, straddling the line of existentialism and absurdism.'"
Available online and in store, The Thing Quarterly Issue 19 is priced at a cool $95.
