David Shrigley Unveils a New Set of Playful Prints at the Shrig Shop
Artist David Shrigley unveils eight special limited edition art prints both online and at his Copenhagen brick and motor Shrig Shop. Every print spotlights a whimsical drawing of characters that perfectly capture the dry British humor of the artist.
When reflecting upon his own work, Shrigley has spoken about his humor transpired through his use of color in a previous interview. He states that when he creates a drawing, he's “looking for it to be something different, to say something interesting, something that perhaps I’ve never said before, something that I don’t fully understand. So it’s a bit like a proposition to myself really.” Every single print is limited to 250 iterations - all are set to release on April 9th.
