The Pink House, designed by 23o5studio, is located in Da Nang City, Vietnam. Featuring pink pebble-wash walls on the exterior and interior of the home, the structure features modern geometric openings to divide spaces uniquely. In addition, the home's textured surface references the Marble Mountains in the Ngũ Hành Sơn District, as requested by the homeowners.
Triangular slices mark the Pink House's doorways through the walls. Below a circular opening is a pool canopied with plants. The openings carefully control views to create serenity and intimacy while allowing light to shine into the home. The project's main focus is to exploit the light through its geometric cut-outs to illuminate the home's modern open-plan living spaces. Additionally, the pink house emphasized its connection to nature.
