The Hylla Alpine Garden Is Designed as a Place of Comfort and Peace
Elena Rahman — October 27, 2021 — Art & Design
Z'scape designed the Hylla Alpine Garden to create a place of comfort, peace, and solitude for all visitors. A winding wooden path leads guests to an array of century-old oak trees, which are situated at the center of the Garden. The Hylla Alpine Garden is located in China's Yulong Country.
Landscape design studio Z'scape celebrates the region's native plants and indigenous culture through the Garden's layout and its selection of greenery. Moreover, the project is part of the Lijiang Hylla Vintage Hotel complex. Visitors can follow the foot trails to find a place of sanctuary. The Beijing-based studio designed the Garden to blend into the existing landscape using reclaimed local materials to construct the buildings.
