The Hug House Offers Expansive Views of the Naoussa Bay
Madison Mackay — March 5, 2018 — Art & Design
React Architects created The Hug House, a contemporary home that features classic Cycladic architecture. Placed on the side of a rocky slope on Greece's Paros Island, this holiday home is wrapped in natural stone -- embedding itself into the surrounding landscape.
Made up of two cubed structures and clad in a white plaster facade, each house is connected by a shared terrace. The center of the home features a modern rectangular swimming pool that extends towards the coastline. The design team decided to use a large windowed wall, offering expansive views of the Naoussa Bay in the main living space.
