Tyler, the Creator's Mountain Dew Ad Gets Pulled Off the Air

News broke on Wednesday that many advertisers have decided to pull rapper Tyler, the Creator's Mountain Dew commercial for what they are calling "racist and misogynistic" content.

Tyler is best known as the front man of the off-the-wall hip hop collective known as Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA). This is the second commercial that Tyler has made for PepsiCo's Mountain Dew label and it features a goat and Tyler's trademark odd ball style.

The only real difference with Tyler's latest production is that African American men appearing to be gang members are being viewed in a police line up by a battered woman who claims that she just "can't 'dew' it," when it comes to picking the perpetrator of this slightly ridiculous crime.

Also featuring someone who looks like Donald Trump, Tyler, the Creator's Mountain Dew commercial is certainly pushing the boundaries of youthful advertising.
