McDonalds Australia (commonly referred to as Maccas in Australia) has partnered with Australian esports organization The Chiefs Esports Club to pioneer a series of educational live streams with League of Legends streamer Drew ‘Midbeast’ Timbs, and LCO interviewer Athena ‘kittwy’ Jiang. Additional influencers and content creators from the League of Legends category will help in the development of this podcast.
The podcast will see fans of The Chiefs introduced to the organization’s country club, and viewers will be eligible to enter multiple giveaways for Maccas x Chiefs gear.
Nick Bobir, CEO of The Chiefs, commented on the partnership: “We worked with Macca’s earlier in the year on their first stream week, so we are super excited to be back working with such a legendary partner again. Plus, having the opportunity to bring incredible talent like Kitty and Midbeast together and have them streaming live from the house is an awesome opportunity. I’m excited to see how they stack up against our League of Legends roster.”
