Target Fuses its Drive-Up Service with In-Store Starbucks Pickup
References: target & retail-insight-network
Target has initiated a nationwide expansion of its innovative service known as 'Drive Up with Starbucks.' Initially launched in August 2023, the service was created to help with an increased amount of guest requests at Starbucks locations. Target stands out as the first retailer to offer this service across a vast majority of its U.S. stores, making it accessible in over 1,700 stores nationwide.
The 'Drive Up with Starbucks' service is designed to integrate the Starbucks experience into the Drive-Up order process seamlessly. Once the customer completes the Drive-Up check-in process and indicates that they are en route to the store, a barista will prepare the order and deliver the freshly prepared Starbucks order and the customer's Drive-Up purchases directly to their awaiting vehicle.
