Unveiled at CES 2015, the Tao Chair allows you to continue sitting as you work out. Ideal for the lazy yet fitness conscious, "the invisible gym in your living room" has various fitness tracking sensors embedded throughout it. Using the furniture's arm rests, you can exercise your core. Depending on your leg and arm placement, with enough force applied you can do curls, leg lifts and presses.
The accompanying app monitors your fitness overall while a display in the right arm rest tells you how many calories you are burning. Currently a prototype, the Tao Chair does not replace a full workout or exercise regime. However, the (loosely defined) exercise machine does do something to get the sedentary moving at least a little bit.
