Gen. G is working with Syracuse University to enhance academic esports opportunities for students enrolled at the school. Jointly offered by the Newhouse School of Public Communications and Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics, Syracuse’s esports communications and management bachelor’s program will teach students three core principles: Esports Business Management, Esports Communications, and Esports Media and Design.
A centerpiece of the partnership is introducing Gen.G’s Practicum Abroad initiative to Syracuse students. This three-week program offers participants the chance to travel to South Korea, one of the global epicenters of esports, for immersive, hands-on learning experiences.
Additionally, Syracuse will host the inaugural Gen.G Campus Takeover event next fall, coinciding with unveiling the university’s state-of-the-art esports hub.
