Yoga Design Lab by Chad Turner recently launched its Spring/Summer collection of sustainable luxury yoga mats. The captivating mats depict beach-inspired designs in bold patterns.
The mats are made from natural tree rubber and recycled plastic bottle microfibers, ensuring a closed-loop supply chain. Yoga Design Lab is provided bales of plastic bottle waste by recycling collectors which are then inspected and sorted to secure PET bottles. They are then sterilized and crushed into small microfibers to ensure toxic foaming agents and plasticizers are removed. Next, the microfibers are melted and transformed into threads in a spool to be used in a crimping machine to create the mats. These sustainable luxury yoga mats are ideal for eco-conscious practices.
