Nike is highlighting its sustainability-focused products on its website in celebration of Earth Day. Sustainability-focused products will be highlighted on the company website with the new ‘Shop Sustainable Materials,’ filter. Additionally, the company created Sunburst branding that will be included in sustainable products and in stores to identify these items. In order to receive this branding, the product will be required to be made from at least half sustainable fabrics.
The company also spoke about its new initiative to highlight eco-friendly products, “It is fuel to continue building on decades of advancing sustainability and setting bold goals for the future. From creating innovative ways to recycle shoes nearly 30 years ago to recent measures that address climate change, Nike has long been committed to helping protect the planet to create a better future for sport. After all, there is no finish line.”
