The Sukha project was created by the multidisciplinary design studio Matter as a solution for women to help them perform essential healthcare tests from the comfort of home. The Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) tests were developed due to research from 2019 that found that one in four women in the UK didn't go for a cervical screening with their doctor. The products created for the project are intended to help eliminate the stigma associated with personal health testing by offering consumers a way to test from home.
The Sukha project includes the My Cycles, Your Space and Our Bodies tests, which are focused on menstrual tracking, a place to discuss feminine care products and a device for taking their own samples, respectively.
