To make its products more available to consumers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Subway has announced that some of its franchisees have launched a new service called Subway Marketplace.
Subway Marketplace is a new offering from the sandwich chain that provides customers with all the ingredients they need to make their favorite Subway sandwiches at home. This includes everything from the bread, to pre-packaged meats and veggies. The concept is slightly different than Subway Grocery, which was launched earlier this month in Southern California. As the company explains, "Adapting to this ever-evolving landscape also means finding creative solutions to give our guests the best Subway experience possible—whether that’s providing the greatest value, creating different solutions for guests to access essentials, or delivering contactless convenience."
