Vans' Stressed Series Creates a Worn-Out Look of Classic Shoes
References: blendsus & highsnobiety
Vans Vault highlights its new Stressed pack that delivers distressed iterations of classic silhouettes including the Slip-On and the Sk8-Hi. It is worn out all throughout the silhouette with scraped detail along the midsoles and black splotches throughout the upper -- the Sk8-Hi is detailed with laces to match as well. Formerly, the Stressed series highlighted the AUthentic shoes and the Old-Skool silhouette with some that are still available.
The Slip-Ons come in the checkerboard patterned versions with a black and white colorway and a white and red colorway. The worn-out detail is most prominently seen on the scuffed midsole base, which is the same along the Sk8-Ho and its laces. It is set to launch sometime in May.
