Mount Royal Avenue recently got a comic book makeover with some new street lamps courtesy of Estelle Jugant and Yazid Belkhir from the design firm Turn Me On. The project was started after the Turn Me On design firm won a city-wide contest aimed at providing a "unique winter atmosphere."
All the art pieces on display are original graphics from artists Astro and Jean-François Poliquin.
The street lamps come in a variety of colors including green, pink, purple and teal and are strung seemingly at random throughout the city.
The display will be up until the end of February but it's been stated that the lamps are expected to pop up again over the next two winters.
