A new take on the classic Star Wars storm trooper helmet may actually be more advanced than anything the actual storm troopers could’ve worn in George Lucas’s old sci-fi movies.
Made of carbon fiber, the storm trooper helmet is exceptionally lightweight for its size weighing in at just over a pound. Instead of the traditional white storm trooper color, designer Leonard Carson created a grayish helmet with green eyes. The interior of the helmet is lined with foam padding to keep your head from rattling off the carbon fiber frame during battle.
This helmet recently sold for $3,500 after appearing on the television show Pawn Stars. There were four others made, but none are for sale.
