Contemporary sculptor and artist Ken Kelleher unveiled his latest hand-knit sci-fi sculpture of Star Wars' antagonist Darth Vader. Ken Kelleher is known for his monumental scale sculptures and public art projects that have been showcased in Qatar, Park Krasnodar, China, and Indonesia.
There are two variations of the Darth Vader Sculpture, both standing at 180 cm. Each sculpture is hand-knitted over a 3D resin frame in black high gloss resin, and is dressed in a handmade wool garment while wielding a woven lightsaber. There are also several vibrant colors placed on Darth Vader's helmet and robe.
This exclusive sculpture is priced at $75,000 with only 15 units made in each variation. Additionally, there will be complimentary merchandise such as knitted Darth Vader cardigans, sweaters, and hoodies available.
