In addition to selling a variety of housewares and decor, several Crate and Barrel locations are now including a dedicated store-in-store space for products from the Land of Nod.
As a retailer of furniture, decor and toys for children, Land of Nod's merchandise was previously only available through its online shop and print catalogs. Now, for the holiday season, the Land of Nod store-in-store will provide Crate and Barrel shoppers with the chance to shop a selection of seasonally appropriate items.
The store-in-store format is becoming a popular way for brands to showcase other businesses that share similar values, limited collections or co-branded collaborations. Rather than having to take marketing to the street, this type of retail setup makes it extremely easy for brands to simulate the experience of a temporary pop-up store.
