Have you ever wondered what a feudal Japanese-style Jabba the Hut would look like? Me neither. But evidently Steve Bialik has, or else his collection of paintings would never exist.
Taking his ideas from old school Japanese art, Bialik applies what has been done for centuries to the different Star Wars characters. Steve Bialik creates images that are 100% awesome, pieces that I would love to have framed in my house.
Implications - Steve Bialik could easily be featured somewhere in a museum; his combination of various genres allows him to appeal to a super massive audience, while still maintaining a familiar style. I love this incorporation of Japanese style -- way to go Bialik!
