In the London Waterloo train station an installation was erected to celebrate the anticipated release of the new Ghostbusters film that showcases the franchise' popular Stay Puft Marshmallow Man villain coming through the ground to reek havoc on the civilians. The installation is a massive rendition of the villain that is designed to bring awareness to the film with an interactive installation that transports consumers into the world of the film.
The revamping of the Waterloo station is done to recreate setting of the Manhattan railway featured in the original films. The space features the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man breaking through the floor ground along with fake slime dripping from the ceiling, suspended in time. The station also released specially formatted tickets for the event that were themed to the film.
