Flickr user Smile! Mermaid sure knows how to blend Holiday cheer and Sci-Fi creativity, as seen in this collection of Star Wars Easter Eggs. Rather than adhering to the traditional decorative makeup of colorful spring colors, chocolate bunnies or bright yellow chicks (the hatchlings), this artist decided to remain true to the format (Easter eggs) but with a personal twist.
Hand painted using a small brush and a sharpie, some of these mini heads also have some paper mache to ensure that Darth Vader's helmet and Yoda's ears aren't left out of the mix. It turns out that Easter and Sci-Fi do have something in common. These Star Wars Easter Eggs are an excellent addition to the plethora of holiday-themed crafts that turn up during this time of year.
