Airbnb and its peers may be challenging the hotel industry, but Standard hotel's Stowaway program is looking to take back its business. The Stowaway program is being touted by Standard Hotels as “a feeling of home comfort throughout the duration of their stay.” The program is offered to guests staying for at least a week and will allow users to curate their own environment in the hotel. This curation can include a personal concierge, a customized mini bar and restaurant reservations. Standard is also working on a Tesla-powered car service for the Stowaway program, but have yet to announce any updates on this.
