Cove 3 is the name of a South African house, one that will steal just about anyone's heart for a number of reasons. First of all, it boasts stunning views of an impressive landscape. Secondly, it is a luxury home that that is fit for a celebrity. Meant as a vacation home until the Johannesburg based family it was built for makes the commitment to live in it full time, the South African house is all glass, wood and concrete.
Designed by Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA) and Antoni Associates, the South African house is located in Knysna. Warm and contemporary, the spacious home was not necessarily inspired by its surroundings. Instead, SAOTA writes, "The primary idea driving the design was to create a single living space with a single roof element floating over it that responded to the slope of the site."
