Solid Poetry is a concrete treatment that interacts with environmental stimulus, namely water. No image or pattern is visible when the concrete is dry, but once wet, Solid Poetry concrete reveals whatever pattern has been applied to it.
This is a very dynamic application of materials technology especially appropriate for rainy climates—like mine. Originally a graduate school project from Frederik Molenschot and Susanne Happle, the product has been used on several installations in The Netherlands.
