Using nature to create these intricate sculptures out of ice, artists in China's Heilongjiang Province created a tremendous display of highly detailed figurines and displays. They were built for the 20th International Snow Sculpture show.
Snow sculpture, like sand sculptures, hold a timeless appeal for just about anyone that views them. The real magic comes in knowing each is one of a kind and cannot be recreated. They will only last for a limited time until the elements reclaim their structures to the earth.
Take note of how tiny the people are next to the massive sculptures... unreal!
Enjoy the gallery!
