Kasama's Rum is Described as "The Sunshine Spirit"
Kasama is a small batch Filipino rum that was aged for seven years. The "sunshine spirit" was inspired by the tropical archipelago—which is considered to be one of the top rum producers in the world—and is "infused with island optimism and good vibes," as the brand states.
Kasama is offered in a striking bottle, with designs by Filipino-American fashion designer Josie Natori. Weaving through the surface of the glass bottle, the lush vine and flower illustration hail from the artist's signature Chikayo print. Natori and Kasama hs also partnered on a launch of rum-infused chocolates, as well.
In order to drive change for its country, the small batch Filipino rum is donating 25% of its proceeds to benefit Voice of the Free—an organization that aims to end human trafficking in the Philippines.
