Six Sense Kyoto is newly reopened and it is a tranquil space that represents a refined aesthetic and historic design. It is located in the ancient capital of Higashiyama Ward. The hotel has 81 guest rooms and suites that vary in size between 450 to 2,500 square feet. All of the rooms overlook captivating gardens or the hotel's courtyard.
The smaller gardens are manmade outside of the bedrooms and bathrooms to create a calm energy with a serene aesthetic elevated by the interior design. The beds are fitted with comfortable organic mattresses with temperature-regulating pillows and duvets, rounded out by organic cotton sheets for a comfortable night's rest. Notably, there is a natural stone flooring that was done as a nod to the "Heian era (794-1185 C.E.) concept known as Miyabi (雅)."
