The Raspberry Pi Foundation has well and truly embraced the next generation of compact project boards with the launch of the Pi Zero 2 W, an innovative single-board computer that maintains the diminutive stature of its predecessor, the Pi Zero, whilst integrating futuristic features.
The Pi Zero 2 W manages to strike a fine balance between retaining features that worked well in the Pi Zero whilst also embracing upgrades and new possibilities. For example, this particular single-board computer uses the same chip as its predecessor, but makes use of quad-core functionality allow for faster performance. As far as connectivity is concerned, the board retains the same WiFi specs as its previous iteration but provides significantly upgraded Bluetooth.
Available for only $15, this single-board computer offers a range of computing possibilities in a miniature package and for an affordable price.
