UNIT has proposed a design for the Shenzhen Bay Super City in China. Because the city is becoming so overpopulated, the team have put forward a skyscraper proposal that integrates nature and aims to maximize space.
To do this, the design elevates separate skyscrapers, which are then also connected with a raised platform. This way the section below is still available for pedestrians and green space, without compromising the convenience of moving between towers. As of now the design is still under deliberation, with more proposals coming through from other firms for the area. However, this one certainly makes the most of how much land can be used, and does a great job with placing the importance of greenery high on the to do list.
