Mass Effect Banned in Singapore
References: uk.reuters
It turns out, Singapore isn’t in favor of sexy lesbian action in video games. The Mass Effect Xbox game was banned there due to sexualized content. The Microsoft Corp game included a scene in which two women were kissing and getting intimate… ending with a Titanic-style hand slide. Only one thing to point out here; one was human, the other alien. That’s just a little creepy, no?
The Singapore Media Development Authority banned the “highly anticipated futuristic space adventure game,” in keeping with the governmental decision to ban gay sex in October. (Still no clue how they enforce that.)
