Jon Gibson of Los Angeles' iam8bit art gallery has created an exhibit of sequel posters that never saw the light of day.
Hollywood has become the land of sequels. It's simply more profitable for studios to bank off of their previous successes than to test-drive an original idea. As such, we, as viewers, are subject to some pretty terrible movies that tend to recycle the same plot. But there are a few classics that even Hollywood hasn't attempted to ruin -- at least, not yet. These include Barbarella, Blade Runner, 1984 and Labyrinth.
