The scene outside of a window can often be as breathtakingly beautiful as a landscape oil painting, and that is why the Scene #01 Floor Lamp is inspired by it. The classic nighttime setting in which a backyard tree is slightly obscuring the rising full moon influences this lighting design. The stand acts as the branches while the lampshade and light bulb are cast as the moon.
Designed by Korean studio MONOCOMPLEX, the Scene #01 Floor Lamp has a minimalist aesthetic despite its intricate roots. Made out of metal and wood, the light embraces the silhouette sight that the trees and moon often offer at night. The designers aptly describe it as a "moon on the bough." They elaborate that it "symbolizes a set of ink-and-wash painting that a scene through window makes up."
