Facebook’s ‘Save for Later’ Tool is Belated
Jordy E — August 1, 2012 — Social Media
Facebook’s ‘Save for Later’ feature is now available to the public. The forthcoming technology allows members of the ever expanding social network to amass posts, articles or pictures they may want to read at a subsequent point in time. This concept mimics Apple’s ‘Instapaper’ device, which like Save for Later allows users to collect written pieces.
Save for Later works with iPhones, iPads and smartphone applications. It may also be accessed by simply logging on to Facebook’s website from a desktop. Statements and general information broadcasted on the online forum can be stored in a virtual ‘Saved folder’ that operates by way of a simple drag function. One of the best aspects of the mechanism is its private nature as the folder is entirely hidden.
